White Silicone Rubber


Material:

Our silicone rubber sheets are available in the following sizes as standard, but we are always happy to try and accommodate custom size requests.

Thickness: 1.5mm and 3mm

A4 = 210mm x 297mm
A3 = 297mm x 420mm

 

Appearance:

White in colour. Has a smooth, ductile and flexible texture.

 

Key Features:

Temperature Resistance
Silicone rubber can withstand temperatures ranging from -60°C to +230°C, making it suitable for applications in both high and low temperature environments.

Chemical Resistance
Silicone rubber has excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic radiation, ionising radiation and weathering. Making it ideal for sealing, gaskets, and insulation purposes in harsh environments.

Weather Resistance
The material is resistant to UV radiation and weathering, which makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor applications.

Flexibility
Silicone rubber maintains its flexibility even at extreme temperatures, ensuring it can be moulded or cut into various shapes and sizes without compromising its integrity.

Low Compression Set
White silicone rubber sheets exhibit low compression set, which means they return to their original shape after being compressed or deformed, ensuring long term durability.

 

Food Grade Quality:

Our White FDA Compliant Silicone Sheet has been tested to and is in accordance with the American Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 177-2600, BFR XV Empfehlung and colour bleed test according to BFR Empfehlung part B 11 & Directive EC 1935/2004. It has been approved by WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Service) for use with potable water at temperatures up to 85°C (185°F). The listing number is 1310541.

This product meet the flammability requirements of FAR 25/JAR 25/CS 25 Appendix F, part 1, (a)(1)(iv) and (a)(1)(v) horizontal flammability tests and Automotive Standard PART 571FMVSS302.
